About the role
We are seeking a Medical Receptionist/ Administration Officer to join our administration team. This is a part time (four days a week) role providing high-quality administrative and customer service support to a multi-disciplinary team of clinicians and patients at our clinics across two locations in Hobart, Tasmania. Duties may be rostered between the two locations will be discussed during the interview process.
What you'll be doing
* Greeting patients, managing enquiries, booking appointments in a friendly and professional manner in person and over telephone
* Scheduling appointments and managing the diaries of all clinicians at our two practices using our practice management software
* Maintaining patient files records electronically and in paper based format
* Processing of payments including Medicare and private health claims
What we're looking for
* At least one year experience in an administration/receptionist role
* Previous experience in medical reception role preferred
* Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills
* Ability to work well under pressure and multitask
* Attention to detail and a high level of efficiency
* Proficiency in medical software systems is preferred but not essential as training will be provided
