Our Brisbane campus may be our smallest, having opened in 2024, but it is rapidly growing and this administrative support role will have a big impact.
Our Higher Education department is looking for a Learning Support Officer who enjoys variety, takes initiative, and is comfortable being a key on-site presence. You'll support students and lecturers across academic administration, compliance, and campus operations, while helping shape the culture and environment of our growing campus.

Skills And Experiences
What You'll Be Doing
Student & Lecturer Support
* Liaise with online and on-campus lecturers regarding students, coursework, marking, scheduling, and end-of-term activities.
* Support lecturers in using BigBlueButton for online classes.
* Act as the primary contact for students in assigned units, responding to enquiries, complaints, and explanations relating to academic integrity matters.
* Facilitate discussions between students and lecturers regarding grades and academic concerns.
* Assist with exam rescheduling and follow up on medical documentation.
* Monitor attendance and students at risk, proactively engaging and facilitating support.
Compliance & Academic Integrity
* Monitor program quality and ensure compliance with the Higher Education Standards Framework
* Implement and adhere to organisational policies and procedures.
* Prepare and collate unit results for approval at Board and committee meetings.
* Invigilate on-campus exams and review recorded online exams.
* Escalate suspected academic misconduct to the Academic Integrity team.
Administration & LMS Support
* Coordinate coursework collation with the Publishing team, including proofreading and uploading to Moodle.
* Set up, maintain, and update online and on-campus unit pages across multiple study periods.
* Process course registrations and issue certificates.
* Prepare classes and materials for exams and assessments.
* Respond to general enquiries in person, via email, and by phone.
* Liaise with overseas offices regarding course information.
* Support other teams during peak periods and undertake ad-hoc duties as required.
Campus Support (Brisbane)
* Act as the main on-site administrative contact for the Brisbane campus.
* Coordinate campus opening and closing in line with teaching schedules and events.
* Ensure teaching spaces, meeting rooms, and common areas are set up and maintained.
* Manage room bookings and support scheduling of classes, exams, and workshops.
* Liaise with Facilities, IT, and central teams regarding maintenance, equipment, and WHS matters.
* Coordinate stationery, kitchen supplies, and general office needs.
* Assist with on-campus orientations, student events, and workshops.
* Support WHS compliance and assist HR with onboarding and campus access for new staff.
About You
* Comfortable working independently on a smaller campus while collaborating with a national team.
* 3-5 years administrative experience.
* Proactive, organised, and confident taking ownership of tasks.
* Strong communicator with the ability to work with students, academics, and internal stakeholders.
* Calm, professional, and detail-focused, particularly when handling sensitive matters.
* Experience in higher education, student services, academic administration, or a similar environment (highly regarded).
