The Accommodation Services unit is responsible for managing the Department's commercial and residential rental activities and office space planning. It ensures that office environments are delivered in line with service delivery requirements and adhere to the Tasmanian Government Office Accommodation Fit Out Guideline.
Key Responsibilities:
* Organize and coordinate the operational management of nominated Departmental leased office accommodation and car parking sites to ensure proper and efficient operations of their physical aspects.
* Support and develop ongoing operational relationships with building/property managers and tenants to ensure leased office accommodation sites are maintained in accordance with all applicable contractual, statutory and legislative requirements.
* Manage and coordinate all aspects of maintenance activities for leased buildings, including planning, procurement and oversight of works, ensuring works are carried out in the appropriate manner.
