Our client is a leading construction business with a strong reputation for delivering high-quality commercial fit-out, refurbishment, and construction projects across Australia. With a focus on long-term client relationships and a commitment to excellence, we are currently seeking an experienced and dedicated Site Manager to join their growing team.
The Role:
As a Site Manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day management of commercial fitout projects up to $5 million, ensuring they are delivered safely, on time, and within budget. You will be a key player in their Launceston based operations, overseeing all site activities, managing subcontractors, and maintaining the highest standards of quality and safety.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage and coordinate all on‑site construction activities.
* Ensure all projects adhere to strict safety protocols and quality standards.
* Oversee project schedules, budgets, and resource allocation.
* Liaise with clients, architects, engineers, and other stakeholders.
* Manage and mentor site staff and subcontractors.
* Resolve any on‑site issues or conflicts efficiently.
* Maintain accurate project documentation and reporting.
About You:
* You will hold a Diploma or Advanced Diploma of Building & Construction (Management) or a building related trade qualification.
* You are an experienced Site Manager with a minimum of 3 years experience and a proven track record of successfully delivering commercial construction fitout projects up to $5 million.
* You are a strong leader with excellent communication, problem‑solving, and organisational skills.
* You are proactive, detail‑oriented, and capable of working in a fast‑paced environment.
