About the role
Are you looking for an opportunity to broaden your skills in occupational health, treatment and workplace rehabilitation? Are you looking for the autonomy of a sole practitioner whilst still being supported by a broader team? A unique opportunity combining clinical treatment with occupational health has become available to work as part of the CS Health team in the Lithgow office.
* Expert functional assessment for coal mine workers in our purpose built simulation area
* Onsite early intervention services
* Musculoskeletal treatment for workers compensation, Medicare and private clients in our well‐equipped gyms
* On‐site assessment and consultancy services for coal industry customers including underground and open‐cut mine sites
* Deliver educational and other preventative health interventions such as 1:1 healthy lifestyle programmes and onsite presentations to workers
* Case management and assessment as a workplace rehabilitation provider (SIRA)

* Permanent roles are open only to Australian and New Zealand Permanent Residents or Citizens. Visa holders with unlimited right to work in Australia will be considered for Fixed Term Contracts

About us
Coal Services is a specialised health and safety scheme that provides an integrated suite of services to help identify, assess, monitor and control many risks inherent in the NSW coal mining industry. Our preventative and responsive services in the areas of workplace health and safety, workers compensation, emergency response and training help to deliver on our purpose, 'to protect'. Our purpose, vision and values are aligned to focus on the safety and health of our industry and its workers.
Our allied health team of over 18 staff includes physiotherapists, occupational therapists, exercise physiologists, psychologists and an allied health assistant. We work alongside a team of over 15 doctors and 70 nurses across multiple offices in New South Wales with extensive administrative support.
