Finance Manager

About the Role
A well-established, privately owned organisation is seeking an experienced Finance Manager to support the Financial Controller and CFO in delivering high-quality financial reporting, governance and commercial insights across the group.
This is a hands-on role suited to a commercially minded finance professional who enjoys ownership of month-end, budgeting and forecasting, analytics and stakeholder engagement, with exposure to senior leadership and board-level reporting.
Key Responsibilities
* Finance & Reporting
* Lead monthly management reporting, ensuring accurate and timely consolidated financial information
* Review journals, transaction treatments and balance sheet reconciliations
* Deliver variance analysis and commentary for senior management and Board reporting
* Prepare annual group budgets and regular financial forecasts, including analytics and insights
* Develop financial models to support forecasting, investment decisions and tender submissions
* Produce financial analytics and reporting using BI and reporting tools
* Support external audits and coordinate audit requests
* Ensure strong governance, internal controls and compliance with accounting standards
* Contribute to continuous improvement, automation and process enhancement initiatives
* Provide team support and leave coverage within the finance function as required

About You
Essential
* Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Commerce or equivalent
* CPA or CA qualification (or equivalent)
* 5+ years' relevant commercial accounting experience
* Strong technical accounting and management reporting capability
* Advanced Excel skills and strong MS Office proficiency
* Excellent analytical, communication and problem-solving skills
* Strong time management with the ability to manage competing priorities
* Willingness to obtain a National Police Clearance
Highly Regarded
* Prior audit experience
* Experience with ERP systems
* Business intelligence or financial analytics reporting experience
