We are offering an opportunity for full-time work for a law clerk (undergraduate) while completing your university degree. This is an opportunity to get your foot in the door now, rather than be part of an ever-growing number of admitted solicitors or graduates with a law degree looking for work in circumstances where they have no experience in the legal profession.
We pride ourselves on our track record of training dozens of law clerks and helping them progress to become skilled practitioners. Experience equals opportunities. This pathway has worked for us for decades.
We anticipate that you will maintain a full-time workload at university and do full-time work at the same time. This makes for a very busy life but a very full life.
Ours is a fun, dynamic, and well-established practice. This job opportunity is only for an enthusiastic and clever law student. The successful applicant will be local, tied to our community, motivated, and willing to take on new challenges commensurate with age and ability, on a progressively escalating basis. Must have licence and transport.
This is a paid position. Salary, superannuation, and usual entitlements according to award or as negotiated.
