HR generalist role

This thriving manufacturing business in Dandenong South is European owned with an impressive global reach. Their local production site produces quality products and they have been operating throughout the pandemic as an essential business.
Reporting to the local Managing Director and the European HR Director this role is responsible for looking after 100 employees across a blue collar and white-collar environment. Using your generalist HR skills your remit will include.
- Being the stand-alone HR specialist in the business
- Managing monthly and fortnightly payroll
- Supporting the leadership team with coaching and development
- Implementing employee satisfaction initiatives
- Recruitment, selection, and onboarding of all staff
- Ensure that the OHS plan meets all legislated requirements
- Proactively lead process improvements and automation where needed
This role requires someone who enjoys being involved in all aspects of HR within a successful organisation. Previous experience in a similar sized organisation will be ideal and the ability to work with a diverse management group, building strong relationships, should be one of your core strengths.
As head office is in Europe, we will require some flexibility for you to attend early evening meetings with the global leadership team. These can generally be attended online and at your home location, flexibility will be offered in return. Whilst this is a full-time role, we will also consider applicants who are looking for reduced hours over 5 days for this role.
