About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Electronics Field Technician to join Splitsville Entertainment, Canada's premier family entertainment centre.
The successful candidate will be responsible for performing surveys, installations, and servicing of bowling electronics products, as well as training and supporting bowling centre personnel in the operation and maintenance of bowling electronics.
This role is based out of the Greater Toronto Area with frequent travel to bowling centres across Canada.
Key Responsibilities:
* Perform surveys and brief customers on responsibilities for installation
* Install, start-up, and debug electronic scoring equipment
* Audit computer networks
* Provide training to centre personnel on maintenance of electronic scoring equipment
* Perform service calls and phone support for equipment issues
* Communicate customer expectations and product needs
* Maintain exceptional communication with customers
* Perform calibrations and tuning on equipment
* Work with third-party team members
* Follow safety procedures and practices
* Document service calls and submit reports
* Maintain tools, parts, and diagnostic equipment
* Perform warranty, upgrades, and preventative maintenance
Requirements:
* College diploma in electronics or Trade School diploma in electrical work, or equivalent work experience
* Valid G Driver's License (or out of province equivalent) and vehicle for local site travel
* Ability to travel to the United States for training
* Working knowledge of Windows operating systems and Microsoft Office productivity suite
* Knowledge of systems architecture, database management systems, and network management systems
* Basic project management skills
* Construction/Renovation mindset
* Working knowledge of electrical and electronic basics and theories
* Working knowledge of computer network architecture and troubleshooting
