DBS embraces digital transformation as being fundamental to the delivery on the QUT Digital Strategy to enabling QUT’s aspirations outlined in the QUT Connections Strategy.What you need to succeedEducation, training and/or experience equivalent to the completion of a degree in business, communications, event management or a related discipline with subsequent relevant experience.Highly developed communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to work collaboratively with others, effectively liaise and negotiate with a diverse range of internal and external stakeholders.Proven organisational and problem-solving skills with demonstrated ability to apply sound reasoning, logical judgement and analytical skills including when planning and prioritising demands.Demonstrated success in coordinating student wellbeing, engagement or academic initiatives combined with business or relationship management that supports program initiatives.Demonstrated digital literacy skills using IT systems to record and report on data, and/or to deliver services to customers including experience in designing and delivering integrated marketing communication campaigns that support program engagement.Demonstrated ability to lead and supervise a small events team that supports the effective collaboration, successful planning and execution of student events.Life at QUTWe're committed to building a culture that fosters connection between people and purpose.
