We are seeking a proactive Sales Support professional to join a leading Chemical Wholesaler, supporting their Food & Nutrition team. This 6-month temporary position, running until April/May, is an ideal prospect for a Food Science graduate or someone with experience in sales support, to gain exposure to a dynamic, customer-focused environment.
About the Role
You will play a key role in ensuring effective management of customers and supporting the growth of the Food & Nutrition business unit. Responsibilities include:
Maintaining supplier documentation such as Product Data Sheets and Certificates
Supporting pricing, quotations, and general sales support activities
Assisting with planning, forecasting, and improving accuracy of customer data
Managing stock levels, contracts, and master data for new materials, customers, and suppliers
Coordinating sample requests, tracking deliveries, and supporting marketing presentations and product launches
Handling customer communications, questionnaires, complaints, and import/product registration support
Contributing to process improvements, customer service excellence, and non-conformance management
About You
Qualification in Food Science, Science, Marketing, or Commerce preferred
Prior experience in sales support, customer service, or related roles advantageous
Strong communication, interpersonal, and organisational skills
Ability to work autonomously, prioritise tasks, and manage tight deadlines
Digitally savvy with practical MS Office skills; SAP or CRM experience preferred
Full working rights in Australia are required
