What you'll be doing
As a Field Technician in the Field Deployment Team, you'll install and commission critical technology into frontline RFS vehicles across NSW. This includes satellite communications (Starlink), vehicle connectivity systems, and operational tech that directly supports firefighters on the ground. You will travel across the state, working on appliances in real environments and seeing the direct impact of your work in the field.
You should enjoy practical, hands‐on technical work, operate effectively in a small team, and be comfortable working independently in the field. A background in auto‐electrical, communications, or vehicle accessory installation is highly regarded, but not essential. We value your attitude, capability, and willingness to learn.
