Concreters/Formworkers/Steel fixers/ FRP Leading Hands
Redhill Civil is seeking experienced Concreters, Formworkers, Steel fixers, and FRP Supervisor to join our growing team in Sydney.
For Concreters, you must be highly skilled and familiar with all aspects of civil concreting, including but not limited to slab on ground, screeding, and finishing concrete.
Role Requirements
- Strong work ethic with a strong background in civil concreting and construction environments
- Proven experience in pouring, screeding, and finishing
- Willingness to undertake weekend and night work when required
- Willingness to assist Formworkers and Steel fixers as required to support overall site productivity
- Attention to safety and site compliance
- Own transport is strongly desirable due to site locations across Sydney
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team
- B-80 concrete grey card - great to have
For Formworkers
- you must be confident working in a quick-paced environment and have a strong understanding of formwork, and civil construction.
What We’re Looking For
- Proven experience in civil construction projects
- Ability to read and interpret plans and drawings
- Willingness to assist concreters and steel fixers as required to support overall site productivity
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety
- Willingness to work night shifts or weekends when required
- Own transport is strongly desirable due to site locations across Sydney
- Ability to work independently or/and as part of a team
For Steel fixers
- you must be reliable individuals with a strong background in steel fixing, who are capable of working in a fast-paced, safety-focused environment.
Role Requirements
- Proven experience in steel fixing on civil or infrastructure projects
- Ability to read and interpret plans and drawings
- Strong understanding of safety practices and site procedures
- Willingness to work night shifts or weekends if required
- Own transport is strongly desirable due to site locations across Sydney
- Willingness to assist Formworkers and concreters as needed to support the team
- Ability to work independently or/and as part of a team
For FRP Leading Hand
You must be highly experienced and motivated FRP Leading Hand to lead formwork, steel fixing, and concrete pouring activities across key civil construction projects in the Sydney area. We are looking for a hands-on leader who can manage teams on-site, ensure work is delivered safely and efficiently, and maintain high standards of quality across all stages of FRP operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate and lead FRP crews (formwork, steel fixers, and concreters)
- Ensure works are delivered safely on schedule, and to specification
- Read and interpret construction drawings and communicate tasks effectively
- Manage site resources, materials, and daily reporting
- Liaise with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors
- Maintain compliance with all safety and quality procedures
Ideal Candidate Will Have
- Minimum 3 years\' proven experience in a leading hand role within FRP/civil construction
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- In-depth knowledge of civil construction methods and best practices
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- Own transport is strongly desirable due to project locations across Sydney
- Ability to work independently or/and as part of a team
