Job Description
The successful candidate will be working under the NDIS and private sector, performing clinical services to participants aged 0-65 with various diagnoses and disability types. You will be using CBT, ACT & DBT, and person-centred and trauma-informed approaches through ongoing psychological counselling.
We also offer a full range of psychological assessments, including mental health, IQ, psychoeducational, school readiness, decision-making capacity, autism and ADHD assessments. There will be the opportunity to receive training to develop your skills in this area and administer such assessments to applicable clients.
If you are just starting your Psychology career, we support the 4+2 and 5+1 pathways, as well as registrar programs, with a team of AHPRA Board-approved Supervisors on staff in all areas of expertise to guide and support you to achieve your clinical competencies.
You will work across various environments, including family homes, disability group homes, day programs, schools, community, and/or offices.
Required Skills and Qualifications
* Tertiary qualifications in Psychology
* For Registrar Program: Ability to become registered with AHPRA in a Registrar program – e.g., clinical psychology, clinical neuropsychology, education and developmental psychology, or forensic psychology
* For endorsed positions: registration with AHPRA with endorsement in clinical psychology, clinical neuropsychology, education and developmental psychology, or forensic psychology
* Registration or ability to become registered with AHPRA
* A car and licence
* A National Police Clearance, Working With Children/Working with Vulnerable People Check & NDIS Worker Screening Clearance or able to get one for a client facing role (or willingness to obtain one before commencement)

You will be able to connect with the L&D Manager from the Psychology division, and L&D Managers in other divisions, in one on one and group training sessions, plus have the ability to email or pick up the phone at any time to ask their advice on complex cases.
