Full Time (38 hours per week)Ongoing RoleBased at the Morwell CampusJob Reference No. 2557About the roleLocated at our Morwell Campus we have an exciting opportunity for a suitably qualified and experienced Conservation & Ecosystem Management (CEM) expert to join our CEM teaching team in a fulltime capacity to deliver Certificate II and III in Conservation & Ecosystem Management courses to TAFE Gippsland students and secondary school students participating in the VET Delivered to Secondary Schools (VDSS) program.As a teacher, you will deliver high-quality classroom-based training and assessment, whilst conducting practical skills training in simulated workplace environments. You will create inventive learning resources and assessment materials and undertake educational administration. You will support and guide students and supply them with the skills and knowledge necessary to pursue a successful career in Conservation & Ecosystem Management. A six-month probationary period applies to the role.About youYou possess the necessary industry experience and skills to effectively mentor and train students to the high standard required, in order for them to meet the demands of industry. You are enthusiastic and motivated with a confident and proactive approach to education. You have excellent interpersonal and communication skills and enjoy working with others. You have sound ICT skills, a knowledge of training packages and an understanding of compliance and quality requirements.
