About the Role:
We are seeking a motivated and reliable Assistant Night Manager to join the Front Office team at Crowne Plaza Surfers Paradise on a full-time basis.
Working overnight, you will play a key role in ensuring the hotel operates smoothly during evening hours while delivering exceptional guest service. Acting as the primary point of contact for guests overnight, you will oversee front office operations, assist with night audit procedures, and ensure the safety and security of guests, team members, and the property.
This role is ideal for an experienced Front Office professional with prior Assistant Night Manager or Night Audit experience who enjoys the responsibility of overseeing hotel operations overnight. You will take charge of the property during night shifts, ensuring guest satisfaction, smooth operations, and compliance with all hotel standards.
Key Responsibilities:
• Oversee night operations, including check-ins, check-outs, and guest service standards
• Manage overnight Front Office team and provide coaching as required
• Conduct night audits and reporting, ensuring accurate documentation and billing
• Handle guest feedback, complaints, and emergency situations with confidence
• Monitor hotel safety, security, and compliance procedures overnight
• Liaise with other departments to ensure seamless operations
• Ensure cash handling, POS reconciliation, and financial controls are maintained
About You:
• Minimum 1 year experience as a Night Manager, Assistant Night Manager, or Night Audit role in a hotel environment
• Confident leading overnight operations independently
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• RSA certified and full Australian working rights required
• Flexible availability to work nights, weekends, and public holidays
