GTNTGroup are proud to partner with North Australian Aboriginal Justice Agency (NAAJA) to recruit for a Trainee Throughcare Business Officer undertaking a Certificate IV in Business (BSB40120) Traineeship hosted to NAAJA working out of their Alice Springs Office. The position will receive ongoing training, supervision and mentoring from the Reintegration & Partnerships Coordinator together with the Throughcare BQM team. The position will support business administration functions such as reception, scheduling, procurement, project delivery, data and asset management. The position will also provide some casework and participant support to the Adult and Youth Throughcare practice areas. Responsibilities may increase in line with training progression and career interest.

To be successful in this role, you will have/be:
* Ability to obtain working with children\'s clearance (Ochre Card)
* Satisfactory criminal history check and no history of disqualification from employment by a legal practice
* Conscientious, dedicated, and enthusiastic individuals who have an ability to work under supervision and meet deadlines as part of a team.
Aboriginal Identified Position
This is an Aboriginal identified position. Under section 51 of the Anti-Discrimination Act 1992 (NT), it is a genuine occupational requirement that the occupant of this position be an Aboriginal person. NAAJA's clients are predominantly Aboriginal people, many of whom experience cultural, linguistic and systemic barriers when engaging with the criminal justice system. The role requires the ability to build trust, communicate effectively and provide culturally safe administrative and client service support. Aboriginality is therefore an essential requirement of this position.
Qualification Description
