Barratta Building Pty Ltd t/a Andersens Stafford are seeking an experienced Project & Design Coordinator – Flooring & Interior Finishes to join our growing team in Queensland. This role supports the delivery of residential and commercial flooring and interior fit-out projects, from initial design consultation through to final installation.
The successful candidate will work closely with clients, designers, installers and suppliers, acting as a key point of contact to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget and to specification.
Key Responsibilities
· Coordinate flooring and interior finishes projects from quotation through to installation
· Prepare and manage project documentation, including quotes, scopes of work, variations and schedules
· Read and interpret architectural drawings, floor plans and finish schedules
· Conduct quantity take-offs and assist with material procurement
· Liaise with installers, subcontractors and suppliers to coordinate timelines and resolve site issues
· Provide technical and design advice to clients regarding flooring systems, finishes and performance requirements
· Support quality control through site checks and installation coordination
· Maintain accurate project records and communicate progress to stakeholders
Skills & Experience Required
· Minimum 3 years' experience in project coordination, contract administration or interior fit-out roles
· Experience within the flooring, construction, retail fit-out or interiors industry
· Ability to interpret construction documentation and manage multiple projects concurrently
· Strong organisational, communication and stakeholder management skills
· Proficiency in AutoCAD and/or other design, documentation or estimating software
· A solutions-focused approach to problem solving
Qualifications
Degree or Diploma in Architecture, Interior Design, Construction Management or a related field (preferred)
