Service Design Opportunity
This is a long-term contract role located at our client's ACT location.
* Deliver and design service design artefacts and communication material as required.
As a Service Designer, you will be responsible for planning and documenting user interviews, eliciting both high-level and detailed business problems, and analysing root causes.
Design and facilitate workshops and interviews that include internal and external stakeholders across all levels.
Analyse and improve user experience, taking the viewpoint of the end user.
Manage stakeholder groups to develop a partnership with the business and foster a productive working environment.
You will also communicate well, using professional judgement to evaluate risks in a complex and changing environment.
Additionally, you will perform additional duties or assume responsibility of functions as directed by management from time to time.
Required Skills and Qualifications
* Mandatory:
o At least two years' experience as a UX Designer, Business Analyst, Service Designer, or similar experience in design/strategy/research.
o Proven ability to plan, facilitate, and document user interviews to elicit high-level and detailed business problems and analyse root causes.
o Demonstrated experience in developing and implementing strategic service design.
o Experience in taking the viewpoint of the user and analysing and improving a user's experience or user journey when interacting with services.
* Desirable:
o Relevant tertiary qualifications or requisite experience.
o Knowledge of Australian electoral law and practice.
