We are currently recruiting on behalf of a forward-thinking regional health service located just under an hour from Adelaide. This well-established service is seeking experienced and motivated General Practitioner with skills in Obstetrics to join their dynamic and close-knit team in a permanent capacity (flexible hours available).
The Role In this dual-scope position, you'll provide integrated care to antenatal and postnatal patients within a supportive multidisciplinary maternity team. Your clinical responsibilities will include:
Managing maternity inpatients in collaboration with midwifery staff
Providing antenatal care and attending deliveries that require medical input
Engaging in quality and safety initiatives
Participating in local health committees and service improvement projects
You’ll be working in a well-equipped rural health setting offering modern facilities, a collegial environment, and a strong connection to the surrounding community.
Who We're Looking For You're a dedicated General Practitioner with a passion for rural medicine and women's health. You bring:
Fellowship with RACGP and/or ACRRM
Advanced GP Obstetric skills, with a successful RANZCOG Advanced Diploma or equivalent
Proven ability to work collaboratively within a team-based model of care
A strong commitment to clinical excellence and community health
