About The Role
In this role, you lead the local Support Services Team, guiding staff to deliver a professional, friendly, and confidential experience for everyone who interacts with the service—clients, visitors, and internal teams alike. You're responsible for overseeing front desk operations, ensuring people feel welcomed and supported from the moment they walk in or make contact.
Behind the scenes, you coordinate administrative processes, support service delivery, and help maintain efficient systems that allow clinicians and programs to focus on client care. You also work closely with the Centre Manager, contributing to team performance, workflow improvements, and a strong, positive team culture.
It's a mix of leadership, customer service, and operational coordination—ideal for someone who enjoys leading people, improving systems, and being at the heart of a purpose-driven mental health service.
Experience Requirements
* Demonstrated experience working within a fast-paced environment.
* Experience in the delivery of a proficient Administration and Front Desk service and in dealing with sensitive and demanding public enquiries by telephone and face to face.
* Experience in providing effective client/customer contact and professional, courteous service provision.
* Experience working within a leadership role
Qualification And Other Requirements
* Current or willing to obtain a Working with Children's Check (WWCC)
* Current or willing to obtain a National Police Check (NPC)
* Knowledge and experience in using the Microsoft suite of software and databases
* Certificate level in Business Administration or similar, desirable but not essential
