Overview
We seek an experienced, reliable and qualified Fitter to work as part of our Engineering Team to assist with the refit and servicing of our pearling vessels and associated machinery.
Full time position
Immediate start
Competitive salary based on 38-hour work week, with paid overtime and weekend work available
Based primarily in Darwin, with some travel to our Pearl farms when required to meet business needs
Pearl Farm Engineering (PFE) seeks a reliable and self-motivated Mechanical Fitter with an excellent work ethos and a proven work history.
Responsibilities
* Working on Company's refit and servicing programs
* Maintenance of on-site machinery and power generation equipment
* Undertaking mechanical refits, servicing and overhauling of pearling equipment
Requirements
* Hold a current driver's license
* Be able to pass a Pre-Employment medical and Drug and Alcohol test
* Be a resident of Darwin
Desirable (but not essential)
* Hold a current High Risk Forklift Ticket
* Hold a Construction White Card
* Hold a Confined Workspace qualification
* Hold a Work at Heights qualification
You must be an Australian citizen or permanent resident with full rights to work and reside in Australia.
