Well funded international renewables developer seeking a candidate for a role in Sydney location.About the CompanyThis renewable energy business has an asset portfolio of solar and battery energy storage projects and is growing through participation in renewable asset acquisition processes.Duties and ResponsibilitiesOversee and manage trading risks, propose process improvements and implement control systems;Manage the portfolio of market exposure, such as speculative trading, assets, retail, environmental products;Resolve any issues that may arise and support a Risk Analyst to ensure performance metrics are met;Assist in setting up a retail business, including systems, reporting, policies, and controls and the implementation of a compliance and risk reporting framework.Skills and Experience8-10 years of experience working within the energy markets sector with a specific focus on risk management;Previous finance background is highly advantageous;Ability to build processes from scratch and be a self starter.We are an equal opportunities employer and welcome applications from all qualified candidates.
