We're seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Cabinetmaker / Shopfitter who can bring a high level of craftsmanship and a keen eye for detail to our custom projects. This is not just another factory job, it's a chance to apply your skills in a creative, hands-on environment.
Qualifications & experience
* Qualified Cabinetmaker with experience with bespoke cabinetry
* A keen eye for detail and a passion for high-quality finishes
* Ability to read plans, measure accurately, and work independently
* Versatility – we're a small team, so being flexible and willing to jump in where needed is a must
* A strong work ethic and a positive, team-oriented attitude with proven self-management skills
* Experience in tiny homes, RVs, boats, or custom builds (a bonus, but not required)
* Queensland Driving Licence
Tasks & responsibilities
Under the guidance of the Operations Manager, you'll play a key role in supporting the Cabinetry department and ensuring each project aligns with the production schedule.
You'll be responsible for the construction and installation of custom, flat-pack cabinetry tailored to each tiny home. This includes working from plans, making informed decisions on bespoke cabinetry design, and ensuring the highest standard of craftsmanship and finish.
Your day-to-day will involve:
* Coordinating with other trades to ensure smooth workflow across departments
* Maintaining a clean, organised workspace and ensuring tools and equipment are well-kept
* Managing cabinetry hardware and stock levels between builds
* Performing quality checks, including final detailing, sealing, and defect identification
* Supporting general maintenance needs within the cabinetry area
You may also be asked to assist other departments when required to help the team meet production targets and maintain our reputation as an award-winning tiny home builder.
This is a hands-on role suited to someone who values precision, takes pride in their work, and enjoys contributing to a high-performing team.
