NeatWeeds is a small gardening business servicing the Inner West of Sydney around the areas of Balmain, Glebe, Leichhardt, Drummoyne and Sydney. Our customers are strata, residential homes and apartments and we pride ourselves in delivering the best gardening service in Australia. We are all about growth not just in the plants we service, but also with our clients and within our team.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- **Plant Care**: Plant, water, weed, prune, and maintain a variety of plants, trees, and shrubs.
- **Landscaping**: Assist in designing and implementing garden layouts, flower beds, and outdoor spaces.
- **Maintenance**: Mow lawns, trim hedges, and perform general garden upkeep to keep spaces looking their best.
- **Pest Control**: Identify and manage pests and plant diseases using eco-friendly methods.
- **Tool Management**: Safely operate and maintain gardening tools and equipment.
- **Customer Interaction**: Engage with clients to understand their gardening needs and ensure their satisfaction.
**What We're Looking For**:
- **Experience**: Prior experience in gardening, landscaping, or horticulture and a passion for plants is a must. You will also be great with people in the business and outside of the business. Ongoing coaching and mentoring will be available to grow you as a person.
- **Skills**:
- Knowledge of plants, flowers, and gardening techniques.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Time Management to schedule jobs and travel time to ensure prompt and efficient service.
- Strong attention to detail and a keen eye for design.
- Physical fitness to perform outdoor work in various weather conditions.
- Good communication skills for interacting with clients and team members.
- Open to collaborate and participate in social media marketing.
- **Attitude**:
- A positive, can-do attitude with a willingness to learn and take on new challenges.
- Ability to listen and learn from team members no matter the position.
- **Must haves**:
- Valid manual driver's license.
- Australian permanent residency or citizenship.

Pay: $30.00 - $35.00 per hour
