Its purpose-driven team leads with compassion and cultural integrity, making a genuine difference across the region.To learn more, visit Hands-On, Heart-Driven Instruction Bloodwood Tree is looking for a full-time Driving Instructor based in South Hedland, WA.Reporting to the Driver Training Coordinator, you'll deliver practical, culturally sensitive driver training to new learner drivers, helping them gain the skills and confidence to drive safely and independently.More specifically, your responsibilities include but are not limited to:Instructing learner drivers for C & CA Class licences using dual-control vehiclesAssisting clients with pre-test practice and preparationConducting driving sessions across Port & South Hedland, and occasional outreachKeeping accurate client records and session notesMaintaining vehicle cleanliness and roadworthinessSupporting outreach activities in towns like Tom Price and NewmanParticipating in monthly supervision and team activities The Right Person, Not Just the Right Skills To succeed in this role, you will need:A current C-Class Driver's Licence (held for at least 5 years)National Police Clearance and Working with Children Check (or willingness to obtain)The ability to pass a drug and alcohol screeningSenior First Aid Certificate (or willingness to obtain)We'd also value:Certificate IV in Transport & Logistics (Driving Instruction), ORCompletion of Department of Transport accredited instructor courseExperience working with Aboriginal communitiesConfidence, patience, and a calm communication styleA supportive, respectful and culturally aware approach to trainingIf you're not yet qualified, Bloodwood Tree is open to supporting the right person under supervision as they work toward their instructor certification.This is a role for someone who leads with patience, purpose and practical skill.
