Young People Advocate
We are currently seeking a motivated Youth Worker to join our team in a residential care setting. The successful candidate will work alongside the Support Coordinator, providing intensive support and advocacy to residents.
The role involves coordinating, developing and implementing Independent Living Skills Programs to meet individualised needs. Responsibilities also include:
* Providing safe long-term accommodation for young people at risk of homelessness;
* Able to provide outreach, therapeutic and practical support;
* Assisting young people with complex needs through case management;
* Servicing independent living skills training programs;
The ideal applicant will have extensive experience working with at-risk young people, knowledge of trauma-informed care principles, recent relevant qualifications (preferably Certificate IV in Youth Work) including State's Driver Licence & First Aid Certificate.
Benefits
1. A salary from $76,621– 82,169 (pro-rata for part-time) (12% superannuation included); ;
