Hays is the preferred supplier choice of Federal, State and Local Government organisations. I am partnered with a Federal Government Agency to recruit an APS3 Participant Support Officer for a full-time temporary assignment in Mildura,Victoria until December 2025!
Your new role
As an APS3 Participant Support Officer, you will be in a front of house role communicating with internal and external stakeholders providing exceptional customer service. You will also be handling procedural and clerical tasks, providing administrative support and operational tasks, including basic research and analysis.
Responsibilities may include but are not limited to:
* Managing and resolving matters by actioning planning tasks
* Providing counter/reception support for the local office including participant enquiries
* Resolving customer enquiries, providing information and/or referring customers to appropriate government or community services.
* Managing the team shared email inbox, appointments and telephone enquiries.
* Coordinating appointments and ensuring facilities are accessible
* Undertaking research and investigation activities and preparing associated reports and correspondence.
* Undertaking a range of data entry activities and ensuring follow up is completed.
* Receiving and recording complaints and other feedback
What you'll need to succeed
* Excellent communication skills
* Autonomous work experience
* Analytical skills
* Conflict management
* IT proficiency (MS Office, CRM)
* Front of House/admin experience
* Government experience preferred
* Stakeholder engagement
* Working with Children Check and NDIS Workers Screening Check (or willingness to obtain)
* Experience in disability, health, or aged care sectors desirable
* Australian citizenship
