About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and motivated General Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of our busy takeaway pizza shop. This is a hands-on leadership role suited to someone with strong hospitality management experience, excellent people skills, and a focus on operational efficiency and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage daily operations of the takeaway pizza shop
* Lead, train, and supervise staff, including rostering and performance management
* Ensure high standards of food quality, hygiene, and workplace safety
* Monitor stock levels, place orders, and manage suppliers
* Handle customer service issues and maintain a positive customer experience
* Manage budgets, control costs, and meet sales and profitability targets
* Ensure compliance with workplace health & safety and food safety regulations
Skills & Experience
* Proven experience as a General Manager, Store Manager, or Assistant Manager in hospitality or fast food
* Strong leadership and staff management skills
* Experience in takeaway, quick-service restaurant, or pizza operations highly regarded
* Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends
* Strong organisational, communication, and problem-solving skills
