Seeking a Qualified Gardener in Geelong, 3 Month Assignment, $36.19PH

Our client is seeking an experienced Gardener to join their team for a temporary assignment with an ongoing opportunity.
**Your new role**
- As a team member, display a positive contribution in undertaking horticultural duties including weeding, mowing, minor tree maintenance, control, weed control and repairs to signage and facilities.
- Operate and maintain horticultural plant and equipment including sprayers, hand/small ride on mowers, small tractors and related machinery in an effective and efficient manner
- Spray appropriate insecticides, herbicides and fungicides to a regular or modified program as required.
- Work within health and safety policies and wear and use personal safety equipment provided.
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures relevant to this position.
- Carry out other duties as deemed reasonable and appropriate to the role as directed from time to time.
**What you'll need to succeed**
- Qualification in Gardening / Horticulture or similar qualification
- Experience in the use of a wide range of associated plant and equipment used in horticultural maintenance.
- Experience in the broad range of horticultural maintenance related activities.
- A positive team player who can contribute to workplace improvements and team discussions.
- Ability to provide customer service to internal and external customers.
- Positive communication skills.
- Ability to perform manual work including lifting of weights in accordance with OH&S; guidelines.
- A current Victorian Drivers Licence (Medium Rigid Truck licence would be an advantage).
