🔧 Role Overview
As a Kitchen Hand at Rare Bar & Grill, you’ll be an essential part of our back-of-house team, supporting chefs and ensuring smooth kitchen operations. You’ll help prep ingredients, maintain cleanliness, and contribute to the creation of our signature steak and seafood dishes.
🥕 Key Responsibilities
- Assist with daily food preparation including chopping, portioning, and marinating
- Maintain high standards of hygiene and cleanliness across all kitchen areas
- Wash dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment promptly and thoroughly
- Receive and store deliveries, ensuring proper stock rotation
- Support chefs during busy service periods with plating and basic cooking tasks
- Follow food safety protocols and workplace health & safety guidelines
👨🍳 What We’re Looking For
- Previous experience in a kitchen or hospitality setting (preferred but not essential)
- Strong work ethic and willingness to learn
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Reliable, punctual, and a team player
