As a proactive and human resources professional, you will join our Mungari Operations team working within an established People & Culture Team focused on our underground operations.
The People and Culture Team strives for best practice by coaching and guiding leaders in the application of Fair Work legislation, workforce planning, recruitment, performance management, employee engagement, and professional development.
Your responsibilities include:
* developing your technical skills engaging with stakeholders across our mining operations
* demonstrating behaviours aligned to our values of safety, excellence, accountability, and respect
You will be an enthusiastic people and culture professional with a 'people-first' mindset striving for excellence having strong attention to detail taking accountability for your work and understanding what's needed to progress maturity psychosocial safety, and employee wellbeing in the mining industry.
To succeed in this role, you will need:
* a minimum of 5 years' experience in a HR generalist or business partner role
* qualifications in human resources or a related discipline
* strong employee relations knowledge and experience in conducting workplace investigations and managing performance
* ability to interpret data to make informed decisions and initiate improvement activities
* excellent stakeholder management skills and ability to build positive working relationships across the business
* previous experience working in the mining industry highly desirable but not essential
* confident Microsoft Office user
* a proactive attitude and openness to learning
* commitment to working safely always
