The successful candidate will also need to demonstrate good experience across Resources sectors.Skills & ExperienceAs the successful candidate, you should have prior Senior engineer level working experience in the Oil & Gas and Mining sectors, with a focus on design.Your key responsibilities will include:Assisting with growing the team and developing engineers and designersReviewing analysis models and calculationsCarrying out complex structural analysisPreparing and reviewing assessment reportsGrowing the client base of the structural teamKey client relationship managementLiaising with vendors and suppliersLeading bids and proposalsKey requirementsTertiary qualifications in Civil/Structural Engineering with 7+ years relevant experienceStrong knowledge of AS 4100, AS 3600, AS 1170 suite of standardsExperience with AS 1418.1, AS 1418.18, AS 1657, and AS 5131Strong knowledge of structural steel materialProficient in structural analysis software such as Space GassStrong understanding of safety in design principlesStrong understanding of facilities engineering for brownfield resource projectsStrong understanding of workflow and interactions in multidisciplinary teamsStrong understanding of fabrication and detailing of structural steelExperienced in lifting, installation studies and construction supportKnowledge of finite element analysisProven track record in project deliveryStrong industry knowledge and presenceDemonstrated experience in building and maintaining key client relationshipsChartered status would be highly regardedCultureFyfe values our clients and our people and has a culture built on respect, integrity and the delivery of value.
