The Role
We're seeking a professional, personable receptionist to join our front desk team. As the first point of contact for patients, you'll play a crucial role in creating a welcoming environment that reflects our commitment to patient-centred care.
Key Responsibilities
* Patient reception and appointment management
* Telephone and email communications
* Medicare billing and payment processing
* Patient record management and data entry
* Administrative support for practice operations
* Coordination with multidisciplinary clinical team
* Competent computer skills and ability to learn practice management software
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
* Professional, compassionate approach to patient interactions
* High attention to detail and organizational skills
* Ability to maintain strict patient confidentiality
* Understanding of or willingness to learn trauma-informed care principles
* Previous medical reception experience
* Familiarity with Medicare billing systems
* Knowledge of NDIS billing systems
