Automation Analyst Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Automation Analyst to join our Digital - Legal Service Operations team.
Job Summary:
The successful candidate will be responsible for building, supporting and upskilling on current and future toolsets for document automation and matter workflow systems.
They will also serve as an advocate and technical lead for these systems, have a growth mindset and be open to learning new skills and systems.
In addition, they will engage with stakeholders to create and continuously improve processes, prioritizing client requirements and business value delivery.
Critical assessment and reverse engineering of business processes will also be required to reduce friction, improve efficiency and deliver exceptional quality aligned to client expectations.
The Automation Analyst will document and publish solutions to improve transparency and support a well-documented technical environment.
Maintenance of precedents and templates relating to document automation will also be necessary.
Additionally, the role will involve creating and maintaining automation related SSRS and PowerBI reporting.
Training and assisting users in developing their knowledge of document automation and matter workflow systems and processes will also be part of the job.
Liaising with vendors for provision of external support as needed will be required.
Finally, the Automation Analyst must maintain strong information security awareness and follow firm protocols to reduce risk.
Key Responsibilities:

Requirements:
* Minimum 3 years' experience in law or professional services firm.
* Experience in task based automation / workflow systems.
* Experience with document assembly / automation platforms.
* Understanding of different areas of law (highly desirable).
* Strong comprehension, critical thinking and attention to detail.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Good organisational and administrative ability.
* Excellent literacy and presentation skills.
* SQL, SSRS and PowerBI reporting experience desirable.
