Administrative Officer Level 3 What you'll be doing

St George Hospital provides a centralised administrative workforce supporting a variety of medical, surgical and allied health outpatient services and departments to action referrals, capture data, ensure accuracy of patient information, coordinate clinic bookings and accurately complete patient billing. The Administrative Officer will provide high-level administrative and clerical support services to enable the Outpatient Services and Department of St George Hospital to achieve its objectives in a timely, reliable and efficient manner. This position will be responsible for delivering a high standard of customer service, administrative support and actively contributing to a positive experience for our patients and visitors.

Selection Criteria
* Ability to perform a wide range of administrative tasks in a demanding work environment.
* Experience in responding to a range of enquiries and determining the appropriate response.
* Demonstrated highly developed interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills.
* Ability to improve to contribute to improvements in administrative practices and procedures.
* Ability to use computer hardware, software applications and electronic systems at a basic level.
* Demonstrated ability to work independently in performing routine administrative tasks and ability to work as part of team.
* Excellent organisational skills with the capacity to work under pressure whilst maintaining attention to detail.
