RoleDetails
Principal Policy Officers are responsible forleading significant policy initiative and providing authoritativepolicy advice and leadership. Principal Policy Officer roles may beavailable in a range of areas, including social and economicpolicy, strategy, data analytics, intergovernmental and diplomaticrelations and security and emergency management. Employment fromthis pool can be to an AS07 or AS08 Principal Policy OfficerPosition.

4. The Incumbent will be required to participate in the department's Performance Management Program
5. The Incumbent may be assigned to another position at this remuneration level or equivalent.
6. Some work outside of normal hours may be required.
7. Some interstate travel involving overnight absences may be required.
8. This role requires a National Police Clearance.
