Ipsos is a global leader in social and market research and is looking for enthusiastic, hardworking and reliable casual interviewers for an exciting short term project in the Ballarat Area.

This role provides the unique opportunity to explore surrounding Ballarat whilst working in a supportive team environment.
About the Role
- Ipsos is currently conducting the Victorian Integrated Survey of Travel & Activity (VISTA).
- To make the VISTA project a success, we are looking for a team of committed casual field interviewers. In this role, using your personality and engagement skills you will undertake the recruitment of selected households for the VISTA research study.
- The study involves two teams, with the first team primarily delivering participation letters and collecting fieldwork materials on Sunday, Monday and Tuesday. The second team will visit the same area on Saturday and Sunday (as the first team), recruiting respondents to participate in the study and providing participants with relevant survey forms and GPS devices.
- We have COVID protocols (including Safe plan) in place and provide all PPE. For transparency, you will interact with households over the course of each fieldwork week, for no longer than 5 to15 minutes - on their doorstep. This study has already been successfully running for 15 years in Victoria. You will be collecting valuable data in locations all over the Bendigo area.
- Paid training will be provided - There may also be opportunities for those with high availability to work on other regional projects.

**Requirements**:
To be successful in this role, you will need:

- To be available to work either Saturday & Sunday, or, Sunday, Monday & Tuesday
- Have a mobile phone, a current driver's license and the right to work in Australia
- Be confident and comfortable approaching households to introduce the survey
- Demonstrate a friendly and enthusiastic nature
- Be fluent in English and have good communication skills
- Be well-presented and reliable
- Love talking to people and learning about their lifestyles
- Have a sufficient level of fitness to attend outdoor survey and recruitment work over the course of 2 to 3 days
- Be comfortable using smart devices (e.g., tablets)
- Have access to a reliable vehicle and to enjoy driving
- Sales, Field or Census interviewing experience would be beneficial, but not essential as full training will be provided

**Benefits**
- $33.84 per hour for fieldwork
- Kilometers travelled paid at $0.91 per km
- Paid training provided.
- Approximately 12-20 hours per week (this will vary from week to week)
