About the role:
LDS have an exciting opportunity for a Business Development Manager to join our expanding team.
As the Business Development Manager, you will play a pivotal role in driving business growth, forging strategic partnerships, and expanding our client portfolio to strengthen market presence. You will collaborate closely with the Leadership team, the Client Intake and Onboarding Manager, and the Client Services Teams to ensure client needs are effectively translated into tailored service solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
Build and maintain strong relationships with families, health care professionals, allied health providers and community organisations
Collaborate with client intake and client services teams to ensure a seamless onboarding for new clients
Develop and execute a business development plan that is strategically aligned to attract and onboard new clients
Represent LDS at community events, EXPOS, information sessions and industry forums
Conduct market research and demand forecasting to assist with strategy
Track, measure, and report on KPIs, and manage pipelines, activities and outcomes
Display a high level of customer service, empathy and professionalism at all times
Skills and Experiences:
About you:
A relevant tertiary qualification in Business desirable; or equivalent
3+ years' experience in business or sales essential
Experienced Specialist Support Coordinators would be highly considered – min. 2 years on the job experience
Proactive and goal orientated with the ability to make decisions and problem solve
Understanding and knowledge of the NDIS environment
Lived or work experience within the NDIS ecosystem
Strong community engagement and relationship-building skills
Demonstrated business acumen and ability to network effectively across sectors
Proven success growing and closing business opportunities
Excellent communication skills with a diverse audience
Ability to adapt to different technologies, and experience with CRM systems
Must have an unrestricted drivers' licence and own car
Current NDIS Clearence or willing to obtain one
