About the Opportunity

Keegan Adams are retained and with an exciting fund in a huge growth phase specializing alternative investments for ultra-high-net-worth families, family offices and private wealth professionals across Australia and Asia.

We are seeking a Business Development manager to support and grow the firms enterprise distribution channels in Australia, with a focus on Melbourne-based wealth platforms, private banks, key adviser networks, and direct private clients.

This individual will support the expansion of the funds direct client relationships, including UHNW families, family offices and private wealth professionals, helping to build a consistent pipeline of opportunities in the Melbourne market.

The Role

* Direct Private Client Development (UHNW / Family Office)
* Build and manage a pipeline of direct private client relationships across Melbourne, including: UHNW families, family offices, private wealth professionals (where appropriate)
* Engage clients through tailored conversations around the firms access to: US private markets, alternative investments & specialist co-investment opportunities
* Partner internally to ensure strong client onboarding, follow-up, and long-term relationship management.
* Support the development of repeatable private client engagement processes, including referrals and introductions via professional networks.
* Partner with Investment, Operations, Sales and Compliance stakeholders to coordinate platform and client initiatives and ensure efficient execution.
* Escalate platform, operational or client issues as required and support remediation processes where needed.
* Provide reporting on:
* AUA and flow changes by platform/product
* adviser usage and trends
* direct client pipeline progression and conversion
* operational issues and resolution status
* forward-looking pipeline of projects and platform opportunities

The Ideal Candidate

* Experience distributing alternative or private market products into:
* private wealth
* family office environments
* Demonstrated project delivery track record (formal certification helpful but not essential).
* Strong process discipline and reporting capability — comfortable managing pipelines and stakeholder communication rhythm.
* Relationship-focused; confident engaging with platform stakeholders and UHNW / family office clients.
* Excellent written and verbal communication — able to translate complex strategies into clear and credible messages.
* Strong ownership mindset: proactive, accountable and commercially oriented.
* Motivated by targets and growth outcomes, with a desire to build a long-term career within platform and private client distribution.
