Business Development Trainee – The Local Drinks Co. (Perth)
At The Local Drinks Co., we’re passionate about hand-crafted, all-natural beverages born in Margaret River. We’re looking for an energetic, motivated go-getter to join our team and kickstart their career in sales with a fast-growing local beverage company.
No experience? No problem. We’ll give you full one-on-one training to help you learn the ropes of FMCG (Fast Moving Consumer Goods), develop real sales skills, and grow into a confident Business Development Manager.
What you’ll be doing (and learning!)
- Hit the road – Visit 10–12 outlets per day across independent grocery, cafés, bars, and restaurants.
- Learn the craft – Get hands-on training in how to pitch, sell, and build strong customer relationships.
- Make an impact – Help us expand distribution, secure new stockists, and see your work on shelves and menus.
- Be creative – Support promotions, activations, and merchandising that bring our brand to life in stores.
- Grow with us – Work side by side with our sales team and distribution partners to see the business in action.
What we’re looking for
- Someone fresh out of school or uni (or looking for their first career step).
- Motivated and hungry to learn – we’ll train you on everything else.
- Confident, outgoing, and happy talking to current people.
- Organised and able to keep on top of a busy schedule.
- A team player who’s excited to grow with a local WA brand.
