We encourage and will consider applications from all regional Queensland communities.About the RoleIn this position, you will:Operate 400t+ excavators on site as directed by managementCarry out pre-start and post-operational checks on plant equipment prior to operationOperate plant and equipment to reduce cycle times and prevent unnecessary maintenanceComply with site SOPsClearly communicate with other operators, supervisors and other personnel as necessary to ensure secure operation of plant and equipmentWhat you'll need to succeed:Have a minimum of 12 months previous experience in a mining environment operating large 400t+ excavators and dozersRelevant RII competencies, or competencies signed off within the last 5 yearsCurrent Standard 11 & drivers' licenceEnsure safety is maintained at all timesBe flexible and interested in contributing as a valued member of the teamIdentify opportunities for continuous improvement and work within teams to develop and implement solutionsWe are passionate about providing equal employment opportunities and embracing diversity to the benefit of all.
