About the Role
As a Personal Support Worker, you will provide direct, in-home support to clients living with acquired spinal cord injuries, helping them maintain independence and quality of life.
Your responsibilities will include:
* Personal Care including grooming, bathing, dressing and oral hygiene
* Assisting with transfers using hoists
* Toileting support, including bladder and bowel management
* Basic wound care and assistance with self medication
* Light domestic support such as meal preparation, cleaning and laundry
* Supporting community access, including transport to appointments and social activities
About You
We are looking for dedicated people who:
* Communicate clearly and build genuine connections with clients
* Can commit to a fixed fortnightly roster
* Hold a current driver's licence and have access to a reliable vehicle
* Hold, or willing to obtain, an NDIS Workers Screening Card and Working with Children Card
* Have relevant experience or qualifications in disability, nursing or community care is highly regarded
