**The role**
As the **Human Resources Manager **for our Cement and Lime division, you will partner with the Chief Operating Officer and operational leadership group to understand the business challenges and opportunities and respond both strategically and tactically to meet business needs. Consulting with business leaders, you will develop and own the business level HR plan.
The role will work in partnership with the wider** People & Culture Team** to leverage group offerings, expert knowledge and experience and provide insightful and constructive solutions/ideas on key initiatives.

**Business Partnering**
- Partner with the Chief Operating Officer and operational leadership group for the Cement and Lime division.
- Deliver HR solutions that create value, using evidence and data to create buy-in demonstrate impact.
- Understand business drivers, articulate key business metrics, see opportunities to increase efficiency and reduce costs, with a focus effective implementation of people-focused solutions to meet business needs.
- Provide advice and assistance in relation to operational structures, workforce planning and position design.
- Contribute to improvement initiatives with impact group level.
**Employee relations**
- Develop and implement a division level employee relations plan in line with overarching ER strategy.
- Manage the division level pipeline of agreement renegotiations.
- Manage employment and industrial relations matters in accordance/alignment with group strategy to include planning and negotiations, investigation support and representing the organisation at the Commission.
**Performance and reward**
- Deliver the annual performance and reward cycle for the Division, in alignment with the Group wide performance and reward objectives.
**Culture and capability**
- Deliver division level programs in alignment with Group wide organisational capability plans and priorities
- Develop technical and leadership capability within the division
- Manage and build Division Talent in alignment with group talent strategy
- Embed the desired culture
- Manage and deliver training programs
**What you will need to succeed**
- Bachelor's Degree in Business/Human Resources
- 7+ years' experience in a Generalist HR role
- Significant experience in a complex industrial relations environment
- Leadership experience within a publicly listed, multiple business unit, multiple geography environment
- Proven business partnering capability - outstanding relationship management and influencing skills
- Hands on approach to supporting hiring managers and employees
- Ability to interact and influence at an executive level
- Strong consulting, negotiation, and facilitation skills
