We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented QA/QC Engineer to join our team on a major non-process infrastructure construction project. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring all project activities meet quality standards and client specifications, while supporting continuous improvement across all phases of the project lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities:
* Develop, implement, and maintain the Project Quality Management Plan, including Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs) and Field Inspection Checklists (FICs) aligned with client requirements.
* Conduct inspections, assessments of materials and components at various stages of production and fabrication.
* Perform quality audits across project sites, fabrication yards, and supplier facilities in line with audit schedule.
* Liaise with the client's quality team, attend coordination meetings, and provide regular updates on quality performance.
* Review subcontractor quality documentation and oversee off-site manufacturing inspections.
* Identify and report non-conformances
* Assist in developing and implementing corrective actions.
* Conduct inspections and verification checks on vendor packages (e.g., modular buildings, pump skids, cranes).
* Ensure timely and accurate completion of all quality records for project handover.
Qualifications and Experience:
* Bachelor's degree in engineering, Quality Management, or a related discipline.
* Minimum 2 years' experience in a QA/QC or project engineering role within the construction or infrastructure sector.
* Certified Quality Auditor (ISO 9001) preferred.
* Strong understanding of quality assurance and control processes, including auditing.
* Excellent attention to detail, organizational, and communication skills.
* Proficient in preparing and reviewing quality documentation and reports.
* Valid White Card and Driver's Licence (essential).
* Must have unrestricted work rights in Australia.
