Role Description:
Holiday and maternity leave cover. 6-8 weeks. Possible extension.
This is a 5 days a week, casual role (Can be school hours) based in our Lane Cove West office for Our bookkeeper will be responsible for tasks such as:
* Book keeping and general ledger accounting.
* Accounts Payable, invoicing and payments.
* Reconciliation of bank accounts and credit cards
* Expense allocations and business cost accounting.
* Month end allocations and working with Tax accountants –
* External CFO to generate the necessary information.
* Assisting with payroll for 25+ staff
* Managing basic journal entries
* Payment of Superannuation
* General office support
Ideal Candidate Requirements:
* Proven accounting/bookkeeping experience with public practice accounting background
* Advanced knowledge of accounting/bookkeeping principles and practices and financial reporting
* Excellent working knowledge of MYOB or Similar accounting software and Microsoft Office suite
* Excellent communication and organisation skills
* Superior level of attention to detail
