Join Our Team as a Customer Service Officer with RSPCA NSW!
We are looking for a dedicated and empathetic Customer Service Officer to join our Animal Operations department on a part-time basis. You will be based at our Illawarra Shelter and report to the Customer Care Supervisor.
Key Responsibilities
* Deliver exceptional customer service and accurate advice in animal care.
* Coordinate adoption and surrender processes with precise documentation.
* Manage cruelty complaints and elevate urgent cases to Inspectorate.
* Maintain accurate records through administrative tasks including daily banking.
* Ensure animals are properly identified upon receipt.
* Streamline communication for consistent messaging and address process gaps.
* Audit and analyse processes to enhance effectiveness.
* Engage in project management activities and adhere to brand guidelines.
* Support the WHS management system through personal leadership.
Position Requirements
* Unrestricted driver's licence.
* Experience in customer service and animal handling.
* Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
* Ability to work collaboratively within a team.
* Certificate II in Animal Care or equivalent preferred.
