Registered Midwife Job
We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Registered Midwife to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills, a genuine interest in caring for women and their families, and the ability to advocate for individualized woman-centered care.
About the Role
The role involves working on our antenatal ward, maternity assessment unit, birthing suites, postnatal ward, cesarean lists, and special care nursery. As a Registered Midwife, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care to patients, collaborating with other healthcare professionals, and contributing to a positive and inclusive work environment.
* Key Responsibilities:
* Provide comprehensive midwifery care to patients
* Collaborate with obstetricians, pediatricians, and other healthcare professionals
* Advocate for patient-centered care and individualized plans
* Participate in education and professional development opportunities
* Maintain accurate records and reports
Requirements
To succeed in this role, you will need:
* Current registration with AHPRA as a Registered Midwife
* Current NSW Working with Children Check
* Minimum of 2 years' recent experience working as a Registered Midwife in similar roles
* Demonstrated ability to provide individualized woman-centered care
* Sound clinical decision-making and problem-solving skills
* Excellent communication and customer service skills
