Schnitz is all about fresh, made-to-order schnitzels served with passion and pride. We’re growing our team at Gold Coast Airport and are looking for a motivated and hands-on Assistant Restaurant Manager to support our leadership team and help deliver a great customer experience.
About the Role
As Assistant Restaurant Manager, you will support the Restaurant Manager in the day-to-day operations of the restaurant, helping lead the team and ensure smooth service. Your responsibilities will include:
• Supporting the Restaurant Manager in leading, motivating and developing the team
• Supervising shifts and ensuring excellent customer service at all times
• Assisting with rostering, labour management and payroll input
• Supporting stock control, ordering and inventory management
• Ensuring food safety, workplace health & safety and compliance standards are maintained
• Assisting with training, onboarding and coaching team members
• Handling customer feedback and resolving issues professionally
• Helping drive sales, control costs and meet operational targets
• Maintaining a clean, safe and welcoming environment

• A positive, energetic and hands-on attitude
• Strong communication and leadership skills
• Ability to work across weekdays, weekends and peak travel periods
• Previous supervisor or leadership experience in hospitality or quick service restaurants
• A willingness to learn and grow into a Restaurant Manager role
