Employment Type: Permanent Full Time and Permanent Part Time positions available

Position Classification: Registered Nurse

Remuneration: $72, $101,299.47 per annum / $ $51.05 per hour

Hours Per Week: Up to 38

What you'll be doing

In this role you'll be delivering vital occupational health services that support staff wellbeing, safety, and compliance across WSLHD.

* Providing immunisation and screening
* Managing occupational exposure cases
* Coordinating vaccination programs
* Educating on health and wellbeing
* Reporting compliance and statistics

Essential Criteria:

* Registration: Current registration with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse or Registered Midwife

Selection Criteria:

1. Immunisation and Vaccination accreditation by Australian College of Nursing or recognised vaccination and immunisation accreditation
2. Demonstrated ability to facilitate change and implement new processes through training and education in a clinical setting
3. Demonstrated commitment to practising patient centred care
4. Recent clinical experience as a Registered Nurse in a hospital or community health setting, managing direct patient contact and working with a multidisciplinary team
5. Experience in or willingness to undertake training within 3-6 months of appointment in: o Venepuncture o Occupational exposure management o Tuberculosis screening
6. Awareness of workplace wellness programs and experience in involvement with health improvement programs, in addition to nursing interventions
7. Experience in managing a high volume of patient records
8. Well-developed computer literacy skills including: demonstrated experience in the use of clinical applications i.e. Cerner or equivalent; Microsoft Office applications including Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel
